Some viewers have suggested a pay-per-battle or premium content system to generate revenue but these systems conflicted with my fundamental goal to educate people in the art of strategy and tactics. I feel this system of voluntary donations is the best way to allow viewers to reward my efforts but also make military concepts the most available to learn.
Donations are nevertheless important for a number of reasons. As I pour more time into improving and expanding the site, it becomes increasingly difficult to justify such massive amounts of time when homework and work take priority towards completing my university degree. The direct maintenance costs of the site are growing directly and cost much more indirectly through time and energy. Revenue allows me to spend less time working and more time on research, animation and unforeseen projects.
